York Psychology, P.L.L.C.

Meet Dr. Michael Divak

I earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Albany

in 2003 and I have a New York State license to practice clinical psychology.  Prior to the past 3 years at York Psychology, I taught and counseled at public schools and colleges in the Mohawk Valley and the Capital District as a permanently certified school counselor, permanently certified special education teacher, and as an adjunct instructor in psychology.

I currently am in the Foothills Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club and member of Old Fort Johnson.  I previously did volunteer work with Dartmouth College, the Broadalbin Perth School District, and the Sierra Club.  I enjoy listening to music, reading and cooking in my spare time.
